A one-time rugby sevens prodigy, Anderson was ready to retire aged 21 after a cruel spate of serious injuries. Four years later, having been convinced to give her sporting career another shot, she converted to rugby league with the Sharks' Harvey Norman team. The lock earned an NRLW start at the Eels in 2022 and has gone on to represent the Sky Blues. She played all nine games for Cronulla in 2023.
