De La Salle Caringbah were successful in the under 9a’s in the first Grand Final of the weekend, while Engadine Dragons were too good for the Gymea Gorillas in the Open Age Gold decider on the last game on Sunday in a big weekend of rugby league in and around the Sutherland Shire.
Grand Finals were conducted in 37 different divisions at various venues, with Forshaw Park at Sylvania Waters catering for large crowds on both Saturday and Sunday.
The Sharks Academy Fields at Cronulla High School also conducted games on both fields in the various age groups, while Boys Town at Engadine hosted the Women’s and Girls League Tag matches on Sunday.
