ISP Team List - Jets v Magpies

For the second time in 2018 the Newtown Jets were pipped at the post by the Wyong Roos, with the Newtown side now needing to rebound quickly ahead of their next assignment, which involves a clash with the second-placed Wests Magpies on Saturday afternoon.

Seemingly in control for the majority of the contest, the Jets were run down by the Roos last weekend, following on from an earlier loss when Wyong kicked an 80th minute field goal, with the defeat seeing them in eighth position on the Intrust Super Premiership ladder and needing to turn things around if that hope to remain in finals contention.

The good news for the Jets is the inclusion of Kyle Flanagan on the team sheet, with the Jets losing some direction last weekend when the young playmaker didn't return to the field in the second half after failing a Head Injury Assessment at half time.

Props Braden Uele and Kurt Dillon have also been included in the Jets squad.

The Jets v Magpies game is scheduled for a 1.00pm kick off at Lidcombe Oval, the spiritual home of the Western Suburbs club.

The Sharks Jersey Flegg side is also in action at Lidcombe, with their game against Wests Tigers beginning at 11.00am.
