After four weeks on the road, including an ‘away match’ at Southern Cross Group Stadium in round two, the Newtown Jets play their first game at their spiritual home of Henson Park this weekend when they host the St George Illawarra Dragons.
The Jets have recorded two wins from their four games so far, included amongst those an emphatic 36-12 triumph over the Penrith Panthers last weekend.
Fielding a team with a large representation of Sharks-contracted players, the Jets were far too good for the Panthers in what turned out to be a lop-sided affair.
This weekend they will no doubt be seeking some consistency in their play, with the Jets record over the opening four weeks reading loss-win-loss-win.
Again they will be bolstered by the inclusion of a number of Sharks fulltime squad members, with the Jets hoping to score a second win over the Dragons in 2018 after already registering a victory back in round two.
