With the Junior Rep season now just a week away, the Sharks have announced their 2018 Junior Rep squads for 2018.
At an event held in the auditorium in Sharks Leagues Club, the Sharks presented jerseys and gear to the Tarsha Gale Cup girls, the Matthews Cup, SG Ball and Jersey Flegg squads.
NRL squad members Matt Moylan, Valentine Holmes and Kyle Flanagan, along with Jillaroos and Sharks Women’s Series Captain Ruan Sims, joined with the respective team coaches in announcing their 2018 team line ups.
NRL Head coach Shane Flanagan then closed the event with an address to the players, parents, coaches and supporters, offering words of encouragement ahead of the start of their respective seasons.
The Tarsha Gale, Matthews Cup and SG Ball competitions kick off next week, with the boys to play the Central Coast, while the girls have a first round bye.
