The search is on for the 2027 Cronulla Sharks Mermaids, with audition dates officially announced.
The Cronulla Sharks are inviting passionate, talented and driven dancers to audition for a place in the Mermaids and be part of one of rugby league’s leading cheer squads.
From performing in front of the home crowd at Ocean Protect Stadium to representing the Sharks at community appearances, promotional events and major club occasions, the Mermaids are an integral part of the Sharks experience.
Under the guidance of director Robyn Parras, the squad brings energy, professionalism and teamwork to everything they do, while fostering a strong sisterhood built on friendship, shared experiences and a passion for representing the club.
“Being a Mermaid is about so much more than dancing. It’s about the friendships, the sisterhood and being part of a team that supports and celebrates each other, both on and off the field. We’re looking for talented, passionate performers who want to be part of something special and represent the Cronulla Sharks with pride. I can’t wait to see who joins us for 2027.”

“The Mermaids are an important part of the Sharks game day experience, helping create the atmosphere our members and fans know and love. Beyond their performances on the field, they’re also ambassadors for the club at community visits, events and appearances throughout the year.
