Andrew Fifita will miss the Sharks Round 19 clash with the Roosters on Monday, after taking the early guilty plea on Thursday morning.
Fifita had been charged by the match review committee following Wednesday night's State of Origin III match at ANZ Stadium.
Following Gavin Cooper's try for Queensland in the 51st minute, Fifita was deemed to make contrary contact with Cooper, and was subsequently sent to the sin bin.
Fifita will miss just one match, due to carry-over points acrued in previous matches.
