Sharks forward Sam Tagataese said that despite Souths losing George Burgess from Sunday's elimination final due to suspension, the Rabbitohs 'big boppers' will still pack plenty of punch through the middle third.

Having been in a purple patch of form himself of late, Tagataese welcomed the likely inclusion of fellow big man Andrew Fifita who is set to return to the fold after six weeks away from the action.

"Obviously you can tell that he's raring to go ... I think he's ready for Sunday arvo," he said.

"He's helped me ... we have this little thing on the field where we push each other in the games and not having him there was a bit of a miss.

"Andrew provides those freakish plays ... it gives us that little bit of a boost and having him back on Sunday is definitely a bonus for us."

'Taga' also shared his thoughts on the make-up of the Souths pack without Burgess, and said that despite leaving the field early last week, that he is fit and firing for the weekend's final.
