The Newtown Jets will look to rebound from a disappointing last start loss when they travel to Wollongong to take on the Illawarra Cutters.
A loss to the Wyong Roos in Muswellbrook last weekend has the Jets now sitting in eighth placed and under pressure to keep pace with the leading teams, with the Cutters match an important one in the race for finals berths.
The Jets will again feature a strong contingent of Sharks-contracted players, with Nathan Gardner, Sami Sauiluma, Mitch Brown, Dallas Wells, Todd Murphy, Pat Politoni, Tinirau Arona and Junior Roqica all named in the Newtown starting side.
Throw in the likes of inform Jets forwards Ray Moujali and Tim Robinson and it is a solid-looking Newtown team set to run out in Saturday’s important fixture.
