Sharks Secure Coates Hire on Jersey for Three Years
The Cronulla Sharks are pleased to announce a multi-year partnership with Coates Hire, Australia’s largest equipment hire company.
In line with the Coates Hire catch phrase, the Sharks and Coates Hire have combined to “make it happen”, with the company insignia to appear on the back of the Sharks jersey for the 2015 season.
As the Cronulla Sharks move into a new era, Coates Hire has proven to be closely aligned with the partnership seeing Coates Hire play a major role in the provision of equipment and services to the Woolooware Bay development project over the next three years.
The partnership also supports Coates Hire’s broader objectives of supporting the communities in which it operates, alongside building on their already substantial offer to local trades and small business.
The partnership kicks-off on Saturday (March 28) with the Sharks to play the Gold Coast Titans at Remondis Stadium in their new playing strip featuring the Coates Hire logo.
Group CEO Lyall Gorman was pleased to welcome Coates Hire into the Sharks family and proud that a company of such stature had chosen to partner up with the Cronulla Club.
“Throughout the process of engaging with potential corporate partners I have always said it is about getting the right organisations on board - companies who truly want to partner with the Sharks for the right reasons and who are focussed on contributing to the greater good of our community,” Gorman said.
“With Coates Hire, Australia’s largest equipment hire company, their strong local presence at Taren Point; their significant focus on making a real difference to the communities in which they operate and their rich business history over many, many years, we have the utmost confidence and excitement that we have partnered with an outstanding organisation for the next three years and beyond.
“I am obviously thrilled they have agree to become a major member of the Sharks corporate family and together we are firmly committed and focused on building a long and mutually beneficial partnership.”
