Annessa Biddle was recruited while playing for the Otara Scorpions in Auckland and was an immediate hit, winning the 2023 NRLW Dally M Rookie of the Year award.
She made her Kiwi Ferns debut that same year and has played in two Pacific Championship finals since then.
Annessa is recognised as one of the game's most powerful outside backs and led the league in post-contact metres in 2024.
By day, she works as an NDIS support worker while studying toward youth work, hoping to make a difference with troubled youth.
