A spot in the decider awaits the Newtown Jets if they can defeat the North Sydney Bears in Sunday's major semi-final at Leichhardt Oval.

After finishing the regular season one point behind the Bears in second place, Cronulla's feeder team dispatched the Canberra Raiders 38-16 last week to set up a blockbuster meeting with the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup minor premiers.

The ledger sits at 1-1 this season, with the Jets securing an 18-8 victory in Round 23 before North Sydney struck back with a 16-12 win in Round 23.

While the winner of this weekend's clash will enjoy a week off and a direct ticket to the big dance, the loser will have another chance in a preliminary final.

Like last week, Newtown will kick off at 5pm and follow the under-21 Jersey Flegg Sharks, who will take on the Panthers in an elimination playoff.

See the team lists below, with several Sharks-contracted players set to line up for the Jets including Liam Ison, Chris Vea'ila, Tom Rodwell, Sam Stonestreet, Jayden Berrell, Tuku Hau Tapuha, Billy Burns and Braden Hamlin-Uele.

The match will be livestreamed on NSWRL TV.
