Pilot Medical Update - Jesse Colquhoun

Promising Sharks forward Jesse Colquhoun will be sidelined for an indefinite period after suffering a foot injury in last Friday's trial against the Bulldogs.

The 22-year-old has broken his fourth metatarsal, with the Cronulla medical staff to consult surgeons to determine the best course of action for his return to play. A timeframe is yet to be determined.

Colquhoun, who recently re-signed until the end of 2026, also cruelly broke a bone in his foot in last year's pre-season clash with Canterbury.

Fellow young gun Kade Dykes will miss the early rounds having sustained a minor hamstring injury in the 12-6 win at Belmore.

Halfback Daniel Atkinson came from the field after being hit high but passed his Head Injury Assessment on the night and subsequent testing.

This Sharks medical update is brought to you by Pilot, Australia's biggest men's healthcare startup.

Since its launch in February 2019, Pilot's end-to-end telehealth platform has been used by over 100,000 Australians.

Pilot set out to improve access to healthcare for men by creating a simple online process, reducing stigmas around issues such as erectile dysfunction, weight loss, sexual health, mental health and more.
