It wasn't the ideal start to the defense of their title with the NSW Premiership Sharks going down to the Rabbitohs in their season opener, however they have a chance to atone when they tackle The Mounties in a round two match up on Saturday.
The Sharks were their own worst enemies, with errors and poor discipline a feature of their performance against Souths, however there were enough positives to suggest better things are in their future, starting this week against a Mounties team which also slipped to a round one defeat.
