After a promising start, then in taking a narrow lead to the half time break, it was a disappointing outcome for the NRLW Sharks in going down by 36-12 to a rampaging Roosters outfit last weekend.

Following an opening round win, narrow losses to the Tigers and Titans, then the second half blowout against the Roosters, the Sharks will be aiming to get their season back on track when they travel to Townsville to tackle the Cowboys in a round five clash on Saturday.

In a bid to get his team back in the winner’s circle, coach Tony Herman has made a couple of changes to his Sharks line up.

Youngster Jada Taylor has been named at fullback after spending three games on the sideline with an ankle injury, her return resulting in Emma Tonegato shifting back into the halves where she will partner Tayla Preston.

In the backline, Georgia Ravics has been selected on the wing to make her NRLW Sharks debut, while in the forwards, Brooke Anderson moves back to the interchange, with Chloe Saunders in the run-on side at lock.

The Sharks v Cowboys match is scheduled for the early kick off time of 11.05am on Saturday at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, with the two squads listed below.
