Siosifa Talakai is listed to return for the Sharks clash with fellow premiership front runners the Brisbane Broncos this Saturday night.

Missing for the two matches prior to the Sharks bye round due to a neck issue, Talakai is back in the centres with Connor Tracey the unlucky omission following two strong outings as his replacement.

The inclusion of the 2022 NSW Origin representative is the only change to the Sharks team which beat the Newcastle Knights in Coffs Harbour.

NSW Origin utility Nicho Hynes has been named in the Sharks side and it is hoped he will back up following Origin duties tomorrow, with Braydon Trindall on an extended bench should he be required.

While the Sharks have just Hynes involved in game one of the Origin series, the Broncos have five players involved in the match, with their team on Saturday night to potentially take on a different look to the side named today.

The Sharks come into a contest between the second and third placed teams on the NRL ladder on the back of five wins from their past six matches.

Kick-off is 7.30pm on Saturday night.
