A standout performance from prop Tom Hazelton, ably assisted by a hard working forward pack and the likes of Daniel Atkinson and fullback Connor Tracey who captilised on the dominance of their middle men, saw the Jets power to a victory over the Dragons last Sunday.
Two tries from Hazelton, one a 40-metre effort where the rangy front rower ran around the Dragons number one to score, helped the Jets come over the top of the St George side in the second half in a 30-16 round four victory.
Sitting in second position on the ladder as one of six teams to have won three of four games to start the 2023 season, the Jets now face a test of their credentials when they play the ladder-leading Bulldogs in a match to be played at Henson Park on Saturday.
Again the Jets have a strong Sharks representation in their squad, including Mawene Hiroti at the back, centre Kayal Iro who missed the Dragons win, youngster Sam Stonestreet and hooker Jayden Berrell.
The round five KOE NSW Cup match is scheduled for a 3.00pm kick off, with the Jets team listed below.
