A Sharks team intent on putting the disappointment of a narrow loss to the Raiders behind them, against a Dragons side looking to rebound after letting a winning opportunity slip away in Brisbane last Saturday night, sets up an intriguing local derby battle this weekend.
Both teams showed glimpses of what they were capable of despite coming away on the losing side of the respective scorelines in their most recent matches, leaving both desperate for success in the round four clash featuring the two traditional southern Sydney rivals.
In a positive for the Sharks, they welcome Dally M Player of the Year Nicho Hynes back into their side after the talented playmaker missed the opening three weeks of the season, however coach Craig Fitzgibbon has resisted making any significant changes to his team despite failing to overcome the Raiders in Canberra last Sunday.
With the return of Hynes, Braydon Trindall reverts back to the interchange bench in the only alteration to the Sharks starting line-up.
The Sharks v Dragons match is scheduled for a 6.15pm kick off at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium on Sunday, with the two 22-man squads listed below.
