It looked more like a swimming pool at Commbank Stadium on Saturday night, with the Sharks grinding out an 18-6 victory over the Bulldogs in crazy conditions.

It was a victory built on some brutal defence, and despite plenty of puddles and testing conditions, Cronulla were willing to chance their arm in attack as well.
