Jets Team List – Round 15

The Jets moved into first position on the KOE NSW Cup competition table following their win last weekend and will be aiming to stay there when they take on the second-placed Panthers at Henson Park on Saturday.

A Panthers loss, coupled with an impressive win by the Newtown team over the Newcastle Knights saw the leading two teams on the NSW Cup ladder trade places last week, with the top of the table clash an opportunity for the winner to take bragging rights as well as a good deal of confidence into the run home to the Finals.

Youngsters Kade Dykes and Luke Metcalf both scored twice in the Newtown win, with Dykes, playing at five eighth, having a hand in another two of the Jets tries.

After a couple of weeks on the road, first in Canberra, then Newcastle, the Jets return home to Henson Park this week.

With the Sharks retaining an extended squad in Coffs Harbour for their game against the Titans, a couple of regulars will be missing from the Newtown line up, however they will still field a strong line up which includes Dykes, Metcalf, Locky Miller at fullback, prop Tom Hazelton and strike centre Kayal Iro.

The Jets v Panthers match is scheduled for a 3.00pm kick off on Saturday, with the Newtown team listed below.
