Now is the time to sign up and get some summer footy fun, with the Sharks School Holiday Experiences to return even bigger and better early next year.
Scheduled for January 19 at PointsBet Stadium and featuring Junior Jaws, Mega Jaws and the Mini Mermaids clinics, it’s a fun footy day out during the school holiday period.
Skills and drills, presented by qualified Sharks coaching staff, as well as dance routines delivered by senior Sharks Mermaids, will highlight the day, while as an added bonus a handful of Sharks NRL squad members will also participate and later sign autographs for those in attendance.
It’s a chance to get a footy back in the hands (or a Sharks pom, pom) and to enjoy an exciting day out, held on the main field at PointsBet Stadium.
Sharks stars Sione Katoa, Matt Moylan, Matt Ikuvalu, Luke Metcalf, Connor Tracey and Aiden Tolman, along with Mermaids from the Sharks cheer squad, are pencilled in and set to take part on the day.
The Junior Jaws clinic is open to those aged 4 to 9, and again focuses on the fundamentals of the sport of Rugby League in a manner that will encourage young players to get involved for the fun of the game. Participants will receive a Junior Jaws t-shirt and show bag.
Super Jaws is an advanced clinic for boys and girls aged 10 years, targeting those young players aiming to take their Rugby League skills to the next level.
The program is ideal for players of Tackle, Touch and Tag and the focus is on 1-on-1 coaching, conducted in small groups with our professional coaches. A program designed by our Academy & Talent Identification Manager, Glenn Brailey, as well as former Sharks Player and NRL Assistant Coach Daniel Holdsworth, Super Jaws provides the perfect platform for skill development.

Then there are the Mini Mermaids dance clinics which also return during the summer school holiday period.
Participants aged 3 to 6 will be treated to 60 minutes of dance, including games and a short routine, followed by a signing and photo session with the Mermaids.
The girls in the 7 to 12 group get the opportunity to enjoy a two-hour dance clinic, also with members of the Mermaids crew.
Each Mini Mermaid receives a t-shirt and show bag for participating in the dance clinic.
