Late Mail - Sharks v Dragons

The Sharks can confirm the omissions of both Andrew Fifita and Shaun Johnson from the team to take on the St George Illawarra Dragons in the local derby clash at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium later tonight.

The two senior Sharks have withdrawn due to minor hamstring complaints, with both expected to be available for the game in Coffs Harbour the following week.

Fifita's place on the interchange bench will be taken by the versatile Billy Magoulias, while Johnson had previously been named in jersey 18 and came out of the 21-man squad when it was reduced to 19 last night.

Franklin Pele will be the 18th man and Sharks concussion substitute.

The Sharks run-on team to take the field tonight is unchanged from the one which mounted a spirited second-half comeback against Souths only to fall short in their Magic Round match.

The Sharks v Dragons match, with the teams to play for the Monty Porter Cup, is scheduled to kick off at 7.55pm at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium tonight.

The two 17-man teams, plus concussion subs, are listed below.
