Taco Team List Tuesday

The Sharks have made just one forced change to their team to take on the Canberra Raiders at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium on Sunday, with Mawene Hiroti the man chosen to take the place of the suspended centre Jesse Ramien.

Otherwise, Sharks coach John Morris has named an unchanged line up for the round two clash with the Raiders as they look to follow up their solid first up effort against the Dragons last weekend.

With Ramien taking the early plea and accepting a three-game suspension for a high tackle on St George fullback Matt Dufty, Hiroti has a chance to put his name forward for a permanent place in the Sharks side.

The former Rabbitoh, who played two NRL matches for the Sharks last season and has seven appearances in the top grade to his name, Hiroti impressed the coaching staff with his training field performances throughout the summer and has earned his opportunity in Sunday’s game.

Nene Macdonald is the addition to the Sharks 21, named on an extended reserves bench in jersey 18.

The Sharks and Raiders game is scheduled for a 6.15pm kick off on Sunday, with tickets, including undercover seating, still available. Fans are encouraged to pre-purchase to avoid disappointment.

Gates to Netstrata Stadium open at 3.45pm, with a Sharks v the Victorian Thunderbolts the curtain-raiser and kicking off at 3.50pm.
