Registrations for the Sharks Skills Development program, set to featuring a host of Sharks NRL stars as special guests, including Shaun Johnson, Chad Townsend, Matt Moylan, Sione Katoa, Braydon Trindall, Connor Tracey, Teig Wilton and Luke Metcalf, closes on Monday, March 1.
With former Sharks legend Brett Kimmorley, NZ Silver Ferns and Sharks Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership player Kiana Takairangi as fulltime members of the coaching staff, the Sharks SDP shapes as the perfect preparation for the upcoming Junior League season.
A program updated in 2021 to have an intensive focus on tackling technique, safe body positioning and core skills, the SDP is ideal for both beginners as well as those experienced players looking to further develop.
Running for 6 sessions over 6 weeks the SDP also features an array of coaches from the Sharks Academy programs, in addition to Kimmorley, Takairangi and the appearances from the Sharks NRL stars, in giving participants the opportunity to access ‘Sharks style’ coaching throughout the duration of the program.
Everyone who signs on before February 26 will go into the running to win a Limited edition (of 200) signed Sharks jersey, while as an added bonus in 2021, all SDP sessions will be conducted on the main field at PointsBet Stadium.
