Vote for your Round 20 Man of the Match

Following the Sharks loss to the Raiders on Saturday night, with the two teams to come together again this weekend in the first round of NRL Finals, both coaches said they expected something very different next time around.

Fielding a side missing a handful of their regulars, against a Canberra team also without the majority of their stars, the Sharks went down 38-28 but not without some good performances on the night.

Scott Sorensen, after a strong effort in the game against the Roosters the week prior was again amongst his teams best, taking on dual roles of lock and then dummy half, his tackle count of 43 a team high.

Will Kennedy at the back tried hard all night in attempting to spark his team, running for a 179 metres, the most for any player from either side, while Briton NIkora’s two tries showed his confidence is returning in what was an enterprising attacking display.

The debut of Daniel Vasquez was certainly a popular one, with Mawene Hiroti turning a few heads with a solid performance in his first game in the centres for the Sharks.

So who was your best on the night?

Vote in our fan poll and let us know who you thought was the Sharks Man of the Match from last Saturday night’s game against the Raiders.
