Senior Rep Results - Round 8

The Jersey Flegg Sharks and Newtown Jets were both successful in scoring impressive round eight victories in matches played against the Bulldogs on Saturday.

The Jersey Sharks consolidated their position towards the top of the competition ladder with a comprehensive 36-10 victory over the Bulldogs in their round eight clash at Henson Park. 

Highlighted by a four try effort from winger Richard Whalebone, the Sharks built on a 26-6 half time lead in registering a fourth consecutive win.

NEWTOWN JETS 25
Tuku Hau Tapuha, Riley Jones, Sione Katoa, Blake Hosking tries, Niwhai Puru 4 goals and a field goal

BULLDOGS 10

The Jets conceded the opening try however they would assume control soon after before going on to record a strong 25-10 victory over the Bulldogs in their round 8 match played at Henson Park.

The only negative on the night was a leg injury suffered by Sione Katoa, who was assisted from the field midway through the second half, while Liam Ison made a successful return from injury. 

With the win the Newtown side moved to second on the NSW Cup ladder.
