The NSWRL have released details for week one of the finals, with the Newtown Jets to contest a sudden-death Canterbury Cup match and the Jersey Flegg Sharks to play the Canberra Raiders in a first against fourth clash.
Both matches are set down for Saturday at Campbelltown Stadium, with the Jets v Mounties game at 12,45pm, followed by the Sharks and Raiders in the Flegg final at 2.45pm.
In the Canterbury Cup a late season revival which included wins in four of their last five games, saw the Jets push up into the top eight, where they will go into the match against Mounties with a level of confidence.
The two teams have met twice this year, sharing the honours, Mounties winning 32-16 way back in round two, while the Jets evened the ledger with a 34-20 victory away from home in round 14.
In the Jersey Flegg, the Sharks claimed the minor premiership after toughing out a 12-0 win in their last round match in a game played in heavy conditions in Newcastle.
The reigning premiers, the Sharks have put themselves in a position to go back-to-back in the Jersey Flegg but first must overcome the fourth-placed Raiders in a qualifying final on Saturday.
