The Sharks welcome Aaron Woods back for today’s clash with the Bulldogs, with the representative front rower to make his first appearance since breaking his foot in round four.
Woods return is timely considering the two game suspension currently being served by Andrew Fifita.
Braden Hamlin-Uele named in the Sharks starting side, will make way for Jack Williams who moves into the run on team, with Woods and Hamlin-Uele to enter the game from the interchange bench.
From the 19-man squad as announced yesterday, Blayke Brailey drops out of the 17 and will be 18th man, while Kyle Flanagan will also warm up as an extra reserve.
The game will be the second for the Sharks for Shaun Johnson since overcoming a hamstring strain, with the Kiwi starring in New Zealand’s win over Tonga after making his return for the Cronulla side in Canberra two weeks ago.
The Sharks will be playing their first game in 17-days, with their most recent encounter coming against the Raiders in Canberra back on June 13.
The Sharks v Bulldogs clash is scheduled for a 4.05pm kickoff at ANZ Stadium
