Fundraise for Sharks Have Heart

Businesses, schools, organisations and individuals can help Sharks Have Heart (SHH) to continue delivering their valuable programs and in providing local community support with the establishment of a new fundraising initiative.

With all proceeds going towards Sharks Have Heart initiatives and programs within the key pillars of Inclusivity and Diversity, Social Impact and Have Heart, the fundraisers will offer priority access to players, the club mascot and other ways in which the Sharks can support the event.

The Sharks can provide players to appear (where available), the Club mascot, volunteers, club staff, as well as marketing material and activations such as our inflatable passing activity The Shark Cage in support of your fundraising event.

The new initiative is a fresh way to engage the community and come together as one to raise much-needed raise funds, proceeds that will be put back into the community through programs and initiatives carried out by SHH.

In encouraging local organisations to become involved, SHH General Manager George Nour explained the funds would allow them to continue to support and grow current programs and to back the numerous community events taking place throughout the year.

“We are proud of the work we are doing, with key programs under our banner such as Skillz 4 Me, Make Bullying History and our most recent partnership with Sutherland Shire Family Services. That’s not to mention the many hours we spend in the community, the donations we make and the other initiatives we support,” Nour said.

“But we can’t continue to do what we do without financial support and any funds raised would go directly to assist the programs and initiatives we are currently involved with, while helping us to be able to further our reach within the community,” Nour said.
