Cronulla Sharks player Josh Dugan played out of his skin in the Kangaroos first match of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.

The physically imposing centre was at his damaging best in the opening match.

In the 66 minutes he was on the field, Dugan ran for a game-high 271 metres, getting his side on the front foot from start to finish.

Dugan was also able to score himself a try, the four-pointer which sealed the 18-4 victory for the home side.

The strong match from Dugan should have Sharks fans excited for what’s to come in season 2018.

With the final make-up of Shane Flanagan’s backline still to be determined and it being unknown as to whether or not Dugan will play fullback or centre, the speed and strength shown by Dugan will have Sharks fan screaming out for more.

Sharks Members and fans, lets get excited!
