Named to start in the front row against the Tigers, Sam Tagataese will take on extra responsibility on Saturday night as he looks to step up in the absence of the Sharks Origin stars.
Tagataese will fill the big shoes of NSW prop Andrew Fifita and when quizzed by the media earlier this week expressed confidence in those who are set to come into the team against a dangerous Tigers outfit.
The hard-running front rower also answered a couple of questions in relation to his immediate playing future and gave his thoughts on the selection of Valentine Holmes for what will be the youngsters first game in Queensland colours.
