Sharks fans can expect another action-packed evening of Rugby League and entertainment when the Cronulla Sharks take on Wests Tigers this Saturday night!

Last time we met, Cronulla secured a late 22 – 16 victory thanks to a brilliant chip-chase try by Chad Townsend. Be there when we do it again at Southern Cross Group Stadium (SCGS)!

This week, the Club has partnered up with the Melanoma Institute Australia and we’ll be celebrating our passionate family of Sharks members.

SCGS will open its doors at 5:00pm as the NYC Sharks and Tigers warm up for a 5:15pm kick off. Our strong under 20’s side will be hungry for their 11th win of the season and eager to consolidate their position at the top of the competition ladder. The grounds will be buzzing with DJs, drummers, inflatable sharks and more! There’ll be plenty of photo opportunities, with the Cronulla Sharks Mermaids’ Instagram frame and a green screen photo booth.

Kids can get excited for face painting, an obstacle course and the good old sharks slide! Your young one will also get the chance to write a message and hold it up to their favourite players on our fan cards.

At 6:50pm, pre-game entertainment will get underway with your favourite MC’s Dane Wheeler and Matt DeGroot. Expect two games of JRL showcasing the Sharks skills development program, hear from CEO Lyall Gorman, Members choice interactive cam, an upbeat performances by the Cronulla Sharks Mermaids, and on Sharks run, watch Southern Cross Group Stadium light up with some aerial fireworks and flames!

This Saturday, it’s all about our members! All Sharks members will go into the running to win an array of prizes, enjoy exclusive photo opportunities and see their names on our 2017 Member Banner. Selected members will form the guard of honour and run out with the Men in Black, White and Blue.

The NRL Sharks and Tigers will kick off at 7:30pm. The clash is bound to be exciting, as both sides test out fresh combinations in the absence of key State of Origin players. To check out the Sharks’ NRL team list, click HERE.

Half-time will be called at 8:15pm and the Mermaids will prove once again why they’re the best in the business with a dazzling performance. The crowd will come together and sing-a-long to a tune chosen by our members.

A platter of scrumptious food options will be camped out throughout the stadium to satisfy your every craving! Treat yourself to Howling Forest coffee, Berlin Bangers German Sausages, Street Sliders, a Caminito sausage sizzle, Cheesee Toastees, pizza, ice cream and more!

At 9:10pm the full-time siren will sound, and at 9:25pm kids can hit the field. In true Sharks Game Day style, the entertainment will continue next door at the Cronulla Sharks Leagues Club.

Be there when the Sharks go head to head with the Tigers on Saturday night!
