Andrew Fifita has spoken with the media ahead of the NRL's Indigenous Round being played over the next two weekends.
Fifita said he cannot wait to play in the new strip and represent his people when he takes to the field.
"I can't wait for Friday night to represent my culture and represent this jersey," said Fifita.
"It's going to mean alot more to put the Sharks jersey on this week than any other Round because of what we're representing.
"I know there's three other players in our team who are Indiginous and are stinging to put the jersey on so Friday is going to be good."
