Sharks Coach Shane Flanagan fronted the media on Friday, saying his side has found an added steel following last week's loss to the Raiders.

While not suggesting the side 'needed' a loss on the run into the 2016 finals series, Flanagan said a hunger and a determination amongst his side to return to winning ways has been clear throughout the week

"We've trained really hard, in two really good sessions this week," Flanagan said.

"I expect a really dominant performance tomorrow night."

On the day of announcing a new signing at the Club for the 2017 season, Flanagan spoke of the pending arrival of Tigers' hooker Manaia Cherrington, while also emphasising the role and importance of current number nine, Michael Ennis.
