Full of confidence on the back of fifteen back-to-back wins, Sharks centre Jack Bird says there's no reason the side can't remain without defeat to round out the season.

Though not to look too far beyond this Monday's match up with the Titans, Bird says the side can only continue to improve, a point that bodes well heading into the back end of the year.

"We've got to face a classy outfit this week, if we go up there and don't play to our ability, the Gold Coast will shock us," Bird said.

"We'd like to think we can go in week in, week out and win games ... Hopefully we can keep winning games.

"I think we can improve, a lot. When we played the Broncos (at Southern Cross Group Stadium in Round 9), that was one of the best halves of footy we've played all year ... We haven't gone that far in every other game (since).

"There's a lot more improvement, we've just got to keep doing what we're doing, and hopefully keep winning games.

Bird also spoke of his recent run of form, and that of returning to the Sharks fold after his NSW Blues debut.
