Making his NRL debut the week prior, Jack Bird made his name known in quick fashion upon his starting debut in the Round 5 match versus the Roosters.
Arriving to Allianz Stadium in the Sharks' '6' jersey having come from the bench against the Titans in Round 4, Bird crossed for a double in seeing the side to their first win of the campaign.
The win - and Bird's performance - though will be long remembered as the 'best debut that wasn't a debut', as said by Sharks Coach Shane Flanagan in the aftermath of the sensational showing.
