The press is always positive after a big win and that’s the way it played out this week following the Sharks 30-2 ‘derby demolition’ of the St George Illawarra Dragons.

The media was extremely favourable when it came to the Sharks performance, with the stories coming out during the week of an extremely positive nature.

The one negative was the challenges faced at the newly named Southern Cross Group Stadium in terms of catering for the near capacity crowd of over 18,000 people.

All those topics have been covered off in the weekly news as reported in both the print and broadcast media.

In a new program premiering on Channel 67 today, the Sharks media duo of Liam Tapper and Rob Willis cover off on some of the news reports and the issues affecting the Sharks following the Dragons win and ahead of the big game on Monday night against the Manly Sea Eagles.
