Identified as a player of promise by Sharks Immortal Gavin Miller, hulking prop Hazelton moved from Goulburn to Cronulla in 2018. He started in the club's under-20s Jersey Flegg side before landing a train-and-trial deal and an NRL debut in 2022. A salt-of-the-earth country boy, Hazelton played 18 games in 2023 and became a cult hero at PointsBet Stadium, with fans loving his hard charges and head-taped appearance.
