The strong Māori back-rower graduated into the senior ranks in 2019 and made an immediate impression. An outstanding hole runner, Nikora has forged a potent partnership with halfback Nicho Hynes on the Sharks' right edge, scoring eight tries as well as making a career-high 18 line-breaks in 2023. Nikora has represented New Zealand internationally, playing a key role in the country's triumphant 2023 Pacific Championships campaign.
