On the back of a strong win over the Rabbitohs, the Newtown Jets are back in action this weekend when they take on the Newcastle Knights in a round 11 Knock-On Effect NSW Cup match.
In hard fought clash at Coogee Oval on Sunday, the Jets ended a Souths five-game winning streak with a resilient performance, the win cementing their place inside the top eight on the competition ladder.
Their opponents this weekend in the Knights are coming off a last up loss to the Dragons. They sit two points behind the Jets, setting up an evenly matched contest.
All six games of the NSW Cup round this weekend will be played at North Sydney Oval, with the Jets and Knights match to kick off at 2pm on Saturday.
