The Sharks are pleased to confirm powerhouse prop Tegan Dymock will return home next season after signing a two-year deal until the end of 2027.
Having secured a release from the Bulldogs, the Tongan international is eager to reunite with her long-time coach Tony Herman and plenty of close friends.
Dymock was an inaugural member of Cronulla's NRLW squad in 2023. She has played 19 games in black, white and blue, including the 2024 Grand Final.
The 23-year-old is eager to resume her career in the Sutherland Shire, with a stint away reaffirming her love and passion for the Sharks.
"I wanted to come back because I play my best footy under Tony Herman, Isaac Michael and all the coaching staff here," said Dymock, who played five matches for Canterbury before being sidelined by a Lisfranc injury.
"I've missed how connected the Sharks culture is. We always do stuff together away from training like get breakfast. I'm kind of nervous but very excited to be back.
"The goal is to win a Grand Final, but there are lots of little goals along the way. On a personal level, I want to be in the starting 17 each week and enjoy my footy."
Coach Herman is delighted to see Dymock back where she belongs.
"We never wanted Tegan to leave and we're over the moon to have her come home," Herman began.
"She has remained good friends with all her Sharks teammates and will fit seamlessly into the squad as a key part of our forward pack.
"It was a frustrating end to her season with injury this year, but we all know what she can do at her best. I can't wait to see her fit and firing in 2026."
Dymock has notched up 30 NRLW games since debuting for the Dragons in 2021. The aggressive front-rower has scored two tries, both for the Sharks, and represented Tonga three times.
