Sharks international Emma Tonegato will return from a calf injury against the Knights in a direct swap with five-eighth Georgia Hannaway, who is out due to an ankle issue.
Tonegato, who has sat out the past two matches, will rekindle her halves partnership with Tayla Preston at PointsBet Stadium after Hannaway was hurt in last week's win over Canberra.
Ladder-leading Cronulla are otherwise as per program as they look to remain unbeaten, however two-time defending premiers Newcastle represent their sternest test yet.
Olympian Sharni Smale will come off the bench in her much-anticipated NRLW debut for the Sharks.
