The Sharks and Newtown Jets enjoyed impressive victories in their respective Jersey Flegg and NSW Cup matches against the Roosters to complete a perfect outing at Henson Park on Saturday.

Cronulla made it back-to-back wins for the first time this season in devasating style, running in nine tries to continue their outstanding attacking form. Hooker Xavier Cacciotti snared the first try in the fourth minute, opening the door for another four Sharks four-pointers before the half-time whistle. Young guns including SG Ball captain Tom Dellow and strike centre Prestyn Laine-Sietu found their way onto the scoresheet in a clinical performance from the Under 21 side.

Jets 33 (Cathane Hill two, Nikora Williams, Harrison Hassett, Felix Faatili, Jaxon Lavender tries; Riley Pollard four goals, one field goal) def Roosters 33
Emerging playmaker Riley Pollard booted Newtown to a dramatic win over the Roosters with a 78th-minute field goal at Henson Park, saving the Jets from squandering a 20-point lead. Newtown were up 28-8 early in the second half before the Roosters came to life, eventually locking the scores at 32-all with seven minutes to go. It fell to Pollard to get the Jets home, the young halfback coolly potting a clutch one-pointer to give the Blue Bags their third victory of the season.
