Jets Team List - Round 4

A late try to youngster Liam Ison, then a field goal to halfback Niwhai Puru in the 79th minute, propelled the Jets to an exciting 25-24 come-from-behind victory against the Wests Magpies on Sunday.

After a narrow round one loss, then a strong week two win, it was a welcome two competition points for the Newtown side who managed to stay in touch with the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup leaders.

This week in a round four clash to be played at Henson Park on Saturday, the Jets play a Raiders side who thrashed the Warriors 42-4 in their most recent outing and are a perfect three from three to start their 2024 season.

While the Jets team will feature a sprinkling of young Sharks contracted players, including Sam Stonestreet, a try scorer against the Magpies, field goal hero Puru and experienced hooker Jayden Berrell, with injuries affecting the NRL squad a number of regular forwards will be required to play for the Sharks on Sunday.

The Jets v Raiders NSW Cup match is scheduled for a 3.00pm kickoff at Henson Park on Saturday.
