There are no further changes to the Sharks' 17 to tackle the Bulldogs tonight after yesterday's reshuffle in which Tuku Hau Tapuha replaced an ill Royce Hunt on the interchange.

Daniel Atkinson has been cut from the extended squad having started for Newtown against Canterbury in the curtain-raising NSW Cup match at PointsBet Stadium, with outside back Kayal Iro retained as a potential concussion substitute.

Hau Tapuha, a hulking 22-year-old prop, will make his official Sharks debut. He played three NRL matches for the Sydney Roosters in 2021. Hunt is out with a virus.

Cronulla centre Siosifa Talakai is ready to go after playing through a minor ankle complaint in the Round 1 victory against the Warriors in Auckland.
