Late Mail – Sharks v Cowboys

After completing preparations, which included a captain’s run in Townsville yesterday, the Sharks are reporting no team changes ahead of their clash with the Cowboys at Queensland Country Bank Stadium later tonight.

The Sharks have confirmed the same 17 named on Tuesday to tackle the Cowboys will take to the field with only one alteration to the team that scored an impressive win over the Titans last weekend, that being the return of rangy front rower Tom Hazelton.

Missing last week due to a concussion suffered in the game against the Rabbitohs in Perth, Hazelton comes onto the interchange bench in place of young forward Jesse Colquhoun.

Otherwise, coach Craig Fitzgibbon has stuck with the team that beat the Titans, retaining the halves partnership of Nicho Hynes and Braydon Trindall after the pair have combined for wins over Souths and the Gold Coast.

Matt Moylan has again been selected on the interchange bench as the Sharks utility option.

The match featuring the fifth placed Shark and the Cowboys who are sitting two points behind in ninth placed, kicks off at 7.50pm tonight.

See below the two 17-man teams, plus concussion substitutes.
