On the legendary Beer, Footy and Food Festival afternoon at Henson Park the Newtown Jets will be looking to repeat their solid last up performance in New Zealand when they host the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles on Saturday.
On the biggest day on the Jets home game schedule, the Newtown side aim to consolidate their spot inside the top four on the Knock On Effect NSW Cup ladder against a Blacktown side sitting in sixth place and coming off a victory over the Canberra Raiders at their last start.
Changes to the Sharks NRL side has meant changes to the Jets outfit, with Jets regulars Jesse Colquhoun, Braydon Trindall, Kayal Iro and Connor Tracey named in the top grade squad, however in a positive hooker Jayden Berrell returns after sitting out the last two games due to a lower leg issue.
The Jets v Blacktown Workers game is scheduled for a 3.00pm kick off at Henson Park.
