Jersey Flegg Team List – Round 8

The Jersey Flegg Sharks continued their undefeated start to the year with a convincing 26-6 victory over another of the previously unbeaten teams in the Roosters in their round seven clash last Saturday.

While the final scoreline probably didn’t reflect the intensity of the contest, it was another impressive performance from Andrew Dallalana’s young Cronulla side.

This week the Sharks come up against a Bulldogs team who were at PointsBet Stadium just three weeks ago and on that occasion it was a game which went down to the wire.

With scores level and the fulltime hooter sounding, Sharks five eighth Manaia Waitere slotted a long-distance field goal in kicking his team to a 15-14 victory.

With a deferred match to make up, the Sharks sit in second position on the under-21’s ladder behind the Roosters, with the Bulldogs currently third, setting up another exciting encounter this time around.

The Sharks v Bulldogs Flegg clash is scheduled for a 7.00pm kick off at Belmore Sports Ground on Friday night.
