Late Mail - Sharks v Souths

In round one late mail courtesy of PointsBet, the Sharks are reporting no team changes for the game against Souths later tonight.

Other than a couple of forced changes due to injury, which were announced and revealed earlier in the week, the Sharks will run out as named for their season opener against the Rabbitohs.

Unavailable for this week one match up is Nicho Hynes with a calf issue and Royce Hunt due to a shoulder problem.

Brayden Trindall starts in the halves for the Sharks, who are well placed for middle forwards to cover Hunt's absence, with Braden Hamlin Uele to start the match alongside Toby Rudolf, while Cameron McInnes, new recruit Oregon Kaufusi, Jack Williams and Wade Graham on the interchange bench.

Dale Finucane will lead the Sharks out as captain.

Mawene Hiroti is 18th man, with Tom Hazelton coming out of the 19-man squad as named last night.

The Sharks v Rabbitohs match, which was officially listed as a sell out on Wednesday, is scheduled to get underway at 7.35pm.
