The high-flying Newtown Jets will look to try to maintain their place on top of the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup ladder when they take on the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles on Saturday.
Sitting one point clear of the Penrith Panthers on the KOE table, the Jets can take another step towards a minor premiership with a win over the bottom-placed Sea Eagles in a match to be played at 4 Pines Park as the curtain-raiser to the Cronulla v Manly NRL clash.
The majority of the Jets line up is well rested after a week off due to the bye, however two players who did see some game time last weekend were winger Matt Ikuvalu and youngster Jesse Colquhoun, with both having input in the Sharks NRL triumph over the Wests Tigers.
The pair return to the Newtown team for the round 23 match up.
The Jets v Sea Eagles match is scheduled for a 3.15pm kickoff, with a Jersey Flegg game between the Sharks and Manly getting underway at 1.30pm, before the NRL fixture at 5.30pm.
